Passed away suddenly, at his home, on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Millie for over 43 years. Devoted father of Pauline Serdar-Pope and her husband Mark Pope and Stefanie Serdar and her partner Mike Lennox. Loved brother of Nikola Serdar, Pajo Serdar, Jaba Cubelic all of Croatia and Mandy Keca of Stoney Creek. Dear son-in-law of Bozena Velko and brother-in-law of Annie Lovas. Tom will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and neighbours in Croatia, Canada and the United States. He will be missed by his dear friends Stipe and Dragica Dosen and their family and by dear friend Maureen Kirby. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A private family funeral service will be held with a private interment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, in accordance with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario facial mask/coverings are required. Please visit the Funeral Home website to register your attendance for services due to limited space availability. Visitors will only be accepted by scheduled appointment and will be asked to wait in their vehicle until their allotted time. Congregating on premises is prohibited. Due to the difficult and restrictive times, the family gratefully decline flowers, and accept loving wishes only. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, once restrictions are lifted.
