Veryl was born May 19, 1950 in Huntsville, Ontario, and passed at Emmanuel House Hospice in Hamilton, Ontario. Beloved wife to Dennis for 23 years, they built a beautiful home together in Stoney Creek and travelled extensively before becoming RV snowbirds in Florida. Loving mother to Colin Bodley (Tracy) and Janis Bodley (Shane). It was also Veryl's privilege to be a loving stepmother to Laurie Bodley and caring oma/grandmother to Braydon and Khloe Bodley, and Eric and Ian Beswetherick. Predeceased by her beloved parents, Vern and Olga Ratz, and her sister, Donna Petty. She was always grateful for the love and friendship of her younger brother, Ray Ratz (Ewa). Veryl had many friends, lived with gusto and placed family above all else. She was very active in WaterFit at The Brewster Pool where she made many close friends. Despite leaving us too soon, Veryl felt fortunate to have done everything on her bucket list. Veryl will be missed by many and cherished in our hearts forever!
Celebration of Life will take place in May with friends and family. In lieu of flower's, Veryl requested donations to The Children's Aid Foundation of Canada,
