I met Ward on a group golfing trip to South Carolina three years ago.
I spent another few days with him there two years ago. I had the pleasure of riding to and from the Niagara airport for one of those trips. Other than that I had little contact with Ward but I thoroughly enjoyed our time together.
It speaks volumes about the kind of person Ward was when having spent so little time with him, his passing has upset me deeply.
My sincerest condolences to you, his friends and family.

Ward and I became friends many years ago through photography. He made many trips to my studio to do photos and we kept in touch by texting. We had man mutual friends on the US side and we gathered at the studio where we had fun, laughed and acted like teen agers. I will miss Ward his visits and the wings and a drink we would have after a photo session.
May God hold him in the palm of his hands. Goodbye friend.

My deep condolences to you all. Ward and I met at Carleton and and a mutual love of music made us friends for years. He was SO much cooler than the rest of us! I was the best man at his wedding and he sang at mine. All of his family always made me feel welcome when I visited New Credit. We fell out of touch for awhile but reconnected a few years ago. Sadly we will not get in the post COVID golf game we talked about. I hope he is at peace, back with his mom and dad.
