O'ROURKE, Wayne With his daughters at his side, Wayne passed away on September 7, 2019 at the age of 66 after a long and fearless battle with cancer. Beloved husband of the late Nancy, nee Bianchi, Wayne will be missed and remembered by his loving daughters Katy and Emily and son-in-law Matthew. Wayne was the cherished son of Mary and the late Tom O'Rourke; son-in-law of Irene and the late Red Bianchi; brother of Maureen Graszat and Joe Fritz; and brother-in-law of Cathy and Randy Densmore. Wayne will also be missed by his nieces and nephew, cousins and many life-long friends. Wayne will be remembered for his love of baseball (go Red Sox!), fishing and sharing food with friends and family. Many thanks to the staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Hospital and the many friends and family who supported Wayne during his illness. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Wayne's Life on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m that will be held at Michelangelo Banquet Centre. A private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program or Juravinski Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
