Herod William Thomas (Mar 10, 1932-July 25, 2021)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Thomas Herod at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Sunday, July 25, 2021 in his 90th year.
Beloved husband of June (Lawrence) for 52 years.
He will be missed forever by his son Mark (Tara) and his 4 granddaughters; Emily, Gillian, Molly and Sydney whom he loved dearly.
Also left to mourn are his brother Bob (Nancy) of Oakville, Ontario and his sister-in-law Marlene of Barrie, Ontario. Bill will also be remembered by several nieces and nephews.
He has been retired for 30 years from Hilton works Stelco since August 1, 1991.
Bill enjoyed the casino and golfing in his earlier years.
We thank Dr. Derek Weatherdon for his care and kindness as well as the staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Cremation has taken place. At Bill's request there will be no funeral or visitation. Close family & friends will gather for the interment at Mt Osborne's cemetery in Beamsville on August 5th at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill can be made to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke foundation.
