William Robert "Bill" JOHNSTONE

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father on January 18, 2021 in his 88th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Isabelle (1999). Adored father to Catherine Johnstone, Bill Johnstone (Laurie) and Jodie Hyrski (Brian). Cherished grandfather to Brittney (Brandon) and Brian Jr. (Brittany). Predeceased by his sister Jesse Duncan (Dunc) and brother Sandy Johnstone (Eileen). Bill will be deeply missed by extended family and friends. Bill is also a Hamilton Sports Legend, in 1956 and 1957 he played defense in the intermediate Ti-Cats B Team. He got a try out into the pros and was offered to play but he decided to raise his family and work in the community instead. Bill retired from Westinghouse/ Northrop Grumman and was heavily involved in Burkholder United Church. Private Funeral Service and Burial to take place.
