William MALLETT Obituary
He was the devoted and loving spouse to Aznive for over 54 years.
Cherished father to William Melkon (Sandra) and Timothy Stephan (Carrie).
Caring grandfather to Ella, Will, Scott, Eric, Brielle and Brendan. Beloved uncle to Shuna (John) Christopher (Anna), Daniel (Becky). He will be missed by many extended family and friends. Bill will be remembered for his quick wit, love of history, authoring books of poetry and beautiful artistic macramé.
He served a term in the Canadian Navy before working on the Hamilton fire department for 40 years.
A funeral service will take place on
Thursday, May 18, 2023 at DODSWORTH & BROWN ANCASTER CHAPEL (378 Wilson St E) at 1:00 p.m.
Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery in Burlington followed by refreshments at his home.
