Zdravko Stanojevic Obituary
It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Zdravko on January 5, 2022 at the age of 91, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved husband of 72 years to Mileva, cherished father to Ranka (Milos) and adored grandfather and great-grandfather to Natalija, Nemanja, Mila and Maya. Zdravko's family was the pride and joy of his life and his passing will forever leave a deep void in their hearts. Zdravko was born in Jaksic, former Yugoslavia, on November 28, 1930 and left for Canada in 1975 to begin a new life with his family in Hamilton. He worked at Dofasco for many years, and in his retirement enjoyed the company of a large extended family and many friends. Zdravko leaves behind family in Canada, Serbia and Croatia and will forever be sadly missed by all. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8, STONEY CREEK on Sunday January 9 from 3-5p.m. and 6-8p.m. Funeral prayers will be officiated at the funeral home on Monday January 10 at 1:30p.m. followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery. In accordance with provincial regulations, there is a limit to the number of visitors who may attend at one time.
