It was with great sadness that I read the obituary of Adele Armin, with whom I played in the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. Her brothers also were respected members of NYO. the foursome played together as a quartet, and I have often wondered what happened to them. My sincere condolences to the family. I know she will be greatly missed.

I worked with Adele in the new/improvised music scene in Toronto in the 80s and 90s and again later, with the Toronto Symphony. She was always welcoming and interested in what was happening with others. A true, gentle and positive spirit.

Adele was my cousin but I only knew her briefly when we both were young. So sad to hear of her passing.

So very sad to hear of Adele's passing. She was such a special person and a such a wonderful musician. I remember being riveted by a performance on the radio of the G major Brahms Violin Sonata. It was probably 40 years ago and I had no idea who was playing. It was Adele and Elyakim Taussig.

She will be missed.
My deepest sympathy to the family
