BYERS, Aileen Margaret - Passed away peacefully in her sleep, with her loved ones by her side at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on Monday, August 25, 2014, Aileen Margaret Byers at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Vernon Byers. Cherished mother of Michael (2010), Douglas, Victor (Judy) and Stephen (2012) Byers. Proud grandmother of Joshua (Danielle), Nicole, Andrew, Matthew, Scott, Stephen and Abby and great-grandmother to Benjamin. Predeceased by her sister Shirley (Bill) Woodrow. Survived by many nieces, nephews and her close friend Jean White. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family service held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the London Humane Society. Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements, 519-455-9343.
