Mr. Cherry taught me two important life lessons I use all the time:
1. Ask a question
2. Do it now, while you are thinking about it
Condolences to his family and friends. His humor and bold can-do attitude was amazing! A privilege for me to witness as a former employee.

Good bye Alan,
It was great working with you through out the seventies. We had lots of fun. Especially when we both looked after a couple who had flown in from Kentucky on their own private plane. After a Saturday working hard we would often visit your favourite restaurant in Chinatown where our wine had to be served in a teapot. Rosalyn, Ray and our children would always join us.
Many good memories.
My sympathy to your family.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Alan and his family when they lived across the road from my grandfather at 167 Gordon Rd. Alan was always thankful and appreciative when someone helped him. A very warm and caring gentleman.

Dear Cherry Extended Family,

I had the privilege and the pleasure of working with Brian Larter and Tony Romano of Airwaves Audio on the Alan Cherry account in the late seventies. I wish you as much peace as possible while you grieve your loss.

I did not know him well, and had not seen or spoken to him in years, but he was the definition of a grand guy. Warm with empathy and charisma. I am sorry for your loss, and everyone else's.

I didn't know him personally but I did meet him when he fitted me out in a tuxedo for my wedding and made me look like a million bucks. He was a gentleman.
