It's hard to believe that I won't see your smiling face anymore at the Gun Clubs. You would always give me a big hug & tell me, "break 100 straight!" "Smoke those targets!" "Stay with the gun & don't lift your head!" You were always encouraging me to stay with the Sport of Trap & to never give up no matter how many times that gun kicked me in the face or shoulder. I will never forget the beautiful paint job you did on my 1988 Grand Am Pontiac after my accident. It was better than when I bought it brand new! You always went above and beyond for me & my family. We will miss you so much Alex. ♥

Alex was a long time friend & fellow Trapshooter of my father Harry Petrev (Smardenkas) for over 50 years. My father & I would shoot with Alex at The Toronto Gun Club, HAHA, Sharon Gun Club & many others over the years. We would like to send our deepest condolences to Alex's family & Anita. Rest in peace Alex & now you can be with Frances & James. Harry & Fay Petrev & daughter Susan Suarez, nee Smardenkas.

I always enjoyed seeing Alex at various trap shoots and stopping to talk with him. I shot on the same squads with him a bit when I first started shooting. He was very kind and always happy to chat, he will be greatly missed by his trapshooting family.
