ALEXANDER PENAK Obituary
PENAK, ALEXANDER Peacefully, at Ina Grafton Gage Home in Scarborough on Sunday, January 22, 2023, in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Lorraine; and siblings, Peter Penak and Julie Kuiper. Loving Father to Brenda of Prince Edward Island, and David (wife, Monique) of Bowmanville, ON; special Grandpa to Nicole (partner, Michael White) and Sean Penak; and known fondly as "Big Grandpa" to Raven and Emmett, respectively. Born on March 3, 1930, of Ukrainian and Polish heritage, Alex became a talented musician, a pilot and flying instructor, a skilled builder of model airplanes and a happy Grandpa. His love of music sustained him throughout his life. Alex will be missed by all. No funeral will be held, but the family appreciates donations in Alex's memory to his favourite radio station: Jazz FM 91 at: jazz.fm/donate
