Alexander Reed

REED, Alexander 'Alex' Thomas (Owner of the Grove Campground, Big Chief Road) Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, January 16, 2008; at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Shirlie (nee Joseph). Loving father of Bryon Reed and wife Ann of Orillia, Barry Reed and wife Sandra of Coldwater, Heather Blake and husband Jim of Oshawa and Andrea Eaton and husband Ken of Marchmont. Grandfather of Lisa, Michael, Terry, Michael, Tim, Shelley, Debbie, Kenny, Cory and Julie. Great- grandfather of many great-grandchildren. Uncle Alex will be sadly missed by Rory, Lorado, Carolyn and Catherine. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Mundell Funeral Home on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11 o'clock a.m. Cremation to follow.
