SAVAGE, Alexander - Peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Gladys. Loving father of Diane and her husband Doug Cooney and Joan Savage. Dear Grandpa of Brad, Andrea, Grace and Gale and great- grandpa of Ashley, Liam, Lilly and Oliver. Survived by his brother Vic and sisters Pauline, Evelyn and Olive. Alex will be missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Avenue, Toronto, ON. Funeral Service on Monday, 11 a.m. at Mimico Presbyterian Church, 119 Mimico Avenue, Etobicoke, ON. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens. Alex will be missed. Always had fun bowling with him. Trying to make him smile when he bowled a 'strike' was the best part! He always wished he had bowled better but half the time he bowled better than me and I am 50 years his junior!
