ALFRED KOSCH Obituary

ALFRED (BURSCHI) KOSCH It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alfred (Burschi) Kosch. Al passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of May 25, 2016, while in hospital. He will be loved and fondly remembered by his wife Judi (Marion), sons Shaun and Michael and his partner Claudia, Al's mother Maria, sisters Renate and Daniela, their husbands Peter and Doug, sister-in-law Doris (Dee), her children Ryan and Kimberly and her husband Andrew and their children. He was predeceased by his beloved father Fred and brother John (Helmut). Al was fiercely proud, but never arrogant and was a loving, fair man who worked tirelessly for his family. His strength, determination and force of will gave us more time together, a gift that will be cherished. Al loved watching soccer and lived for the outdoors, despite occasionally being the fish on the end of the hook. His wisdom, humour and unwavering love for family and friends will be his enduring legacy. The family extends its sincere gratitude to the nurses of St. Elizabeth Health Care and Dr. Patterson and the palliative care team at Markham Stouffville Hospital. They made the recent months comfortable and allowed Al to remain home for as long as possible. With all our love, Prost Burschi! There will be a celebration of Al's life on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home (8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham), 2:30-5:00 p.m. For details, please visit www.chapelridgefh.com
