JAMES, Allan "Al" After a courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, November 12, 2017 in his 88th year. Beloved husband to the late Mabel "Mae" Johnston for 51 years, the late Marilyn Richmond and survived by life partner Sylvia. Will be fondly remembered by his loving daughter Debra James (Carl Tessier) and missed by Sharon Lindner (late John). Grandfather of Chantelle (Buzz), Nicole, Kristen (Chris) and Jessica (Colin). Great-grandfather of Desiree (Kris) and Courtney. Great-great-grandfather of Jace, Anthony, Sophie and Sydney. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at St. Paul's United Church Midland, on Friday, November 17th from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation or St. Paul's United Church Midland, would be greatly appreciated.
