ALLAN LAKE Obituary

LAKE, ALLAN October 3, 1974 - December 30, 2018 Allan will be extremely missed by many friends and family. He was survived by Michelle, his devoted partner and his mother Barbra Cotton. Will be forever missed by all of his siblings. Allan was very ambitious in life. He had a love for racing and collecting fast cars, concerts, our dogs, wild life and good times with close friends! From the age of 15, he has been in the tire industry. Allan's heart and soul went into Pickering Tire N' Mag. He was very generous and thrived to make us happy. He was known for his quick wit, great laugh and a smile we will never forget. We are especially lucky to have had the time we did with Allan. He will live on in our hearts and memories. Friends and family will be received at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229), on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 1-2 p.m. Funeral service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to OSPCA will be appreciated.

So many cars, so many rims, even more tires. Since I was a 16 year old kid this man treated me like gold. If I couldn´t afford it, he lowered the price, and I could never afford it. I´ll miss his pissed off smile, like he´s pissed I came in lookin for a deal, knowing that he gonna take care of me, and anyone else that I send in there. What a great man. Sad to see that lime green wall painted over and the trailer missing. Thanks for all the memories, wish ya were here brother.

Allan was the only person I've found in the GTA who knew exactly how to deal with my 100-spoke knock off wheels. Today, while searching the internet in hopes of finding his new location I came across his obituary. I'm so sad to find out this news, he was a reliable and trustworthy fixture in my life and although he was just my tire and wheel guy, he will be missed and fondly remembered.

I'm so sorry for the family's loss.

Allan was a good friend of our son's. Over the years, became like family and was always welcome in our home. Our deepest sympathies, Michelle.
We are sorry to not be able to attend Allan's service today, as we are in Mexico. This evening, we will be releasing Fire Balloons over the Pacific Ocean to honour Allan and his memory.

I would like to send my deepest sympathy out to all that knew Al. I have only known him for 9 years but he always came across as a all round great guy. Al will always remain in our heart and memories. Cherish all the good times you got to spend with him during his life. Rest in peace and look out on those you left behind.
