DELLA MORA, AMALIA IDA Life is very precious and our time together on this earth is too short. On December 20, 2018, our beautiful mother Amalia Ida Della Mora lost her fight to stay with us in body and her spirit now joins that of her husband Silvio and her son Norberto in heaven. Amailia our beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother, believed in the strength of family ties, taught us the value of hard work and honesty and could be counted on to offer love, encouragement advice and guidance whenever we needed it. Amailia had strength beyond words, overcoming adversity and obstacles that were put in her path and she never gave up when there was a possibility to succeed. She, along with the love of her life Silvio, created a wonderful life for our family and when Silvio passed, Amailia stayed strong and continued to support and give love to her growing family, ever proud of her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She loved to spend time in the kitchen testing new recipes and making family favourites, she was a puzzle wizard spending time with the daily newspaper to word seek and crack puzzle codes, she had the greenest of thumbs and loved her garden and flowers in the summer, she was a master seamstress sewing for many special occasions and she enjoyed watching her favourite roster of daily shows when it was time to put up her feet and relax. We will cherish the very special times we spent together and will miss you so profoundly as we move forward.
