Andrea WELLER Obituary

WELLER, (Mary) Andrea (nee BROUGHALL) On Sunday, June 25, 2017 after a short but valiant fight against cancer, Andrea Weller, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord. Dear wife of Terry Weller, loving mother of Timothy (Susan) Cox, Brian Cox, Daphne (John) Hale and Andrew (Laura) Cox, loving step-mother of Thomas (Dee) Weller and adoring Grandy to Justin, Emily, Daniel and Maren. In her years of sobriety, Andrea dedicated herself to helping countless people on their road to recovery from addictions. She also dedicated much time and love to Trinity Anglican Church in Aurora with involvement in choirs, church bazaars and the Clothes Closet. Andrea's warm smile, generous heart and crazy spirit made her instantly loveable to all those she met. She was fortunate to have travelled the world and lead a life without boundaries or fear. Visitation will take place on June 29, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Anglican Church at 79 Victoria Street, Aurora, with funeral service at 2 p.m. Reception downstairs will follow the service. The family would like to thank Dr. Rana, Dr. Leventis, Marg Cutera, John Seggie, Joanne Gilbert, Thomas Flatt, Nurse Next Door, Trinity Anglican Church and the multitude of friends and neighbours who supported Andrea and Terry through the last few months. In lieu of flowers, Andrea would like a donation made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society.

Andrea was my mentor and beloved friend for many years. She constantly supported and loved me, my children & dogs unconditionally. We will all miss her very much. There is definitely a light that has gone out in my life but she would be the first to remind myself & others that we are all here for a season and to enjoy life to the fullest. We were all blessed to have had her for the time we. To Terry, kids and grandkids my deepest condolences. She is in a better place now.

My husband and I were fortunate to meet Andrea when we were looking for a minister to marry us. Due to another commitment, she wasn't able to perform our service but the time we spent with her was valuable. I will remember her fondly. My deepest condolences to the family and remember she is with you always.

A bright light has left this world.i knew Andrea at BSS and she was one of two very colourful members of our early school years. She was passionate about the movies and a James Dean devotee. We reconnected in the last few years and she had not lost her zest for life.I really admired what she was doing for others in the last few years and her devotion to her children. She brimmed with pride about her family. So many of us will miss her.
