My sincere condolences to the family Ammendolia, and especially to Elena. As a young teenager, I had a deep admiration for both Angelo and Elena. They brought a sense of joy and lightness whenever in their company. A fond memory of Angelo for me was to hear his laughter and watch him "joke around".
I am not able to attend the funeral as I live in B.C.

This is a very heavy loss. I married into the Carere/Luccisano family 16 years ago, and I quickly came to learn about Angelo and Elena and their very respected status in the family, not only because of their success in this country but because of their decency and generosity. The few times I met Angelo, he was always friendly and jocular and treated me like an old friend. Please accept my deepest condolences. It is regrettable that his vast network of friends and family won't be able to pay their respects physically at this time, but hopefully soon, and I hope to be among them.

My deepest and sincere condolences to the entire family. I am sad I can not visit the family members personally; however, I hope this message can replace my thoughts and respect for Elena and the children. I have pleasant memories of Angelo and my dad Luigi Rao sitting under the grape vines drinking wine. Respectfully yours, Mary Rao

Angelo was my parents gardener/landscaper when I was a kid. I remember meeting him again when I was in grade 12 or 13. His daughter Mary dated a friend of mine. I remember sharing some stories of the days when he did our gardening and cut our grass back in the 60's. My father always spoke very highly of him! Rest in peace!
