Anita KORBS Obituary

KORBS, Anita - Passed away peacefully on February 23, 2014 in her 66th year at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital after a valiant struggle with cancer. Beloved daughter of Ausma Korbs and Karlis Korbs (deceased). Loving sister of Mudite Schuler (Michael), Valdis Korbs, Janis Korbs (Inese). Loving auntie to Jason Schuler (Julia), Adam Schuler (Julie), Amanda Schuler (David), Viktors Korbs, Emma Korbs. Cherished great-nieces and nephews Jack, Kate, Ricky, Sloane, Savannah, James, Jade and Alex. Grieving Relatives in USA and Latvia and her dear and loyal friends. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Andrew's Latvian Lutheran Church or Camp Sidrabene would be appreciated by the family. Visitation, memorial service and interment to be held March 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. at York Cemetery, Visitation Centre and Chapel, 160 Beecroft Rd., Toronto, ON, Yonge/Sheppard area. www.etouch.ca

Heins and I will never forget Anita and her steadfast friendship and how she fulfilled her role as Maid of Honour at our wedding! She was a wonderful friend and confidant.
