1937 - 2023

MURRAY, ANNE (nee SEHN) November 28, 1937 - April 24, 2023 It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Anne Murray, at the age of 85, surrounded by family at Markham-Stouffville Hospital. She will be deeply missed by her children, Kelly (Gary), Kathy (Jim) and Kevin (Rosa); and grandchildren, Sarah (Nathan), Lisa, Olivia and Lucas. She is survived by her brother, John Sehn (Marilyn). Anne built a career at the Ontario Hospital Association. She was a resident of Stouffville, where she was Citizen of the Year on more than one occasion. She was supported by friends and neighbours, including Marilyn Dors, who showed her kindness and friendship. An intelligent, kind and strong-willed woman, she loved animals and gardening. Anne was dedicated to finding a cure for HSP, and she generously donated her body to University of Toronto for research. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Karija, Anne's dedicated PSW for several years. A viewing will be held at Grace Church, 221 Carlson Dr., Newmarket, ON, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023, followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. and reception at 12:00 p.m. Flowers can be delivered on Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., or donations in Anne's name can be made to the Ontario SPCA, an organization dear to her heart. May she rest in peace.
