My father worked with Dr. Cecutti for many years. He always had great respect for him. A gift Dr, Cecutti gave me upon my U of T graduation in 1976 still sits in my office.

To The Cecutti Family
My sincere condolences to the entire family. We were inspired and truly blessed with a warm, caring, wonderful and compassionate doctor. My late mother (Concettina Meilach) had been a patient of his when she immigrated to Canada in the mid 50's. He delivered me into this world in 1955 as well as my nephew and nieces in 1966, 1973 & 1975. I will forever cherish my last visit to his office prior to his retirement with his warm and gentle smile.
May you rest in peace Dr. Cecutti...you were a remarkable man and Doctor!
May God Bless You,

My thoughts are with Dr. Cecutti's family. Although I did not know him, as a patient of his son, William, I can only assume that much of William's kindness, caring, and compassion he shows every day as a doctor can be attributed to this great man. He has clearly left his mark on this world in many ways.

My sincere condolences to the family. I will forever remember Dr. Cecutti as he was the Doctor on call when my son was born. I'll never forget in the O.R. he asked how I was and I said I wanted some music and he started to sing O solo mio and we all laughed. He was such an amazing person and we will never forget his care and attention! He will be missed but never forgotten!
Respectfully,
S. DaPonte and family

Dr. Cecutti's father and my grandfather, Raimondo Sabucco, came to Canada together more than 100 years ago to work on the railroads near Sudbury. Who would have thought that so many years later his great-grand daughter would be delivered by the good Doctor!
My sincere sympathy to the Cecutti family for the loss of a kind man.

My deepest condolences to the Cecutti Family. Dr. Cecutti was my mom's doctor for many years, she was a complicated patient but Dr. Cecutti worked his miracles to help her. I became his patient also in the early 70's and stayed with him until he retired. I have not found another doctor yet and I don't think I ever will because Dr. Cecutti is irreplaceable. He sincerely was the kindest and most gentle person I have met in my life time.
May God love him and keep him in his grace, he will be sadly missed.

Dr. Tony was the single most gifted, caring, compassionate, dedicated, Doctor I have ever met. I was blessed to have him deliver both of my beautiful children in the 70's & continued to be in his care for decades. I thank you, all of his family, who sacrificed your time with him, so that we, his patients could benefit from only one, of his many gifts. My prayers are with you all.

To the Cecutti family:
I was very sorry to hear of Dr. Cecutti's passing. He was a wonderful Doctor and he gave me the gift of becoming a mother. After having two miscarriages I was able to come under the care of Dr. Cecutti and he successfully helped me.As well, shortly after my son was born he identified that I was suffering from postpartum depression and again provided me with the help I needed. I treasure a note he wrote me upon his retirement.
God bless you Dr. Cecutti!

To the Cecutti Family:
I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your beloved Husband/Dad/Nonno. He was a truly special human being. He was my mother's Dr. for many many years, and then was mine as well. I greatly admired and trusted Dr. Cecutti and was always amused at how other Drs or nurses who, when they would see his name on my blood or x-ray requisition would ask me what the "Great Dr. Cecutti" was really like(he was a living legend). I was delighted to tell them how very kind and caring and compassionate he was! I can't imagine how much you will miss his warm smile and gentle laugh, but let me convey to you my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you and may you take comfort in knowing how many, many lives he brought into this world and how many of his patient's lives he saved(mine included). We shall be forever grateful for having had Dr. Cecutti in our lives and for how much better our world was because of him!
With Sympathy and Prayers to you all,

To Our Beloved Dr. Cecutti:
I will be forever grateful for the opportunity you gave me in hiring me to work for you at the age of 18, 1 week after we buried my Father. I have always looked up to you as a Father figure and with great respect. We shared some great times and sad times in those 10 years (1977-1987). You were there for me when I got engaged. I remember you saying "Are you sure you want to do this?" Well, we are still together after 30 years and 2 kids. The wedding, the surprise delivery 1 month prior to my due date. The best was when you called me at home to tell me Nancy C. had a healthy baby boy. She became my sister friend for life.
Over the years I have had contact with so many of your patients and their kids. I loved sharing stories with you about your patients. When my kids were growing up in hockey, at school, the mall or other sporting events I would say to my kids: "See the boy/or girl over there?" They would stop me and say: "Yes mom, we know. Dr. Cecutti delivered them!". It is quite amazing how many people you have touched. You even delivered some of our friends and their children. I have only heard good things said about you.
You were always reading medical books in between patients. Had chocolate bars in the top drawer of your desk. Your ashtray was full of cigarette butts and you would run out to deliver a baby with a waiting room full of patients.
I always told you that you reminded me of Johnny Lombardi.
You were one brilliant gentleman with a heart of gold who brought so much joy to so many people. We are all truly grateful for having been able to know you.
Love forever,
Ivana Ricupero (Nee Marcocchio)

Dr. Cecutti was my Doctor from June 1960 to the day he retired. He has a very compassionate and helpful Doctor, often calling in the evening with test results. He always had time for me and was always helpful. He also was my 3 daughter's doctor and we felt he was a friend as well as a Doctor. We will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time.

Dr. Cecutti delivered me back in 1967. I had the pleasure of having him as my doctor and being there for me throughout my pregnancies. I happily had three healthy boys all at St. Michaels hospital and I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Cecutti personally deliver my 3rd son Luke. He made the birth of my son a beautiful and memorable experience for me. It is such an honour for me to share this story all the time with my son, especially around the time of his birthday. I will truly miss you Dr. Cecutti and keep you in my prayers.
