ARMAND DOUCETTE Obituary

DOUCETTE, ARMAND ALPHONSE November 2, 1935 - January 23, 2022 At Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his 87th year. Armand enjoyed life to the fullest and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Beloved husband of 65 years to Sonia (nee Mishalkowsky). Loving and devoted father of Glenn (Mona), Greg (Angela), Gary (Grace), and Laura Doucette (Chris). Cherished grandpa of Jonathan, Benjamin, Cecilia, Rebecca; Matthew, Alex; Christopher, Caitlyn; and Xavier. Dear brother of Sylvia McCready, Marjorie Doucette, Lorna Halligan (Tom), and predeceased by his sisters Claire Wichman (Lou, predeceased), Katherine Wainwright (George, predeceased), and brother Allie Doucette (Carol). Dear brother-in-law of Walter Mishalkowsky (Rusty), Rose Gervais (Jean), Danny Mishalkowsky (Barb), Max Mishalkowsky (Mare Beth). Son of the late Alphonse Doucette and Adeline Buote. Visitation at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Friday, January 28th, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Eulogies and Words of Remembrance from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. To register a time to pay your respects, please visit Armand's obituary on the Highland Park website. My condolences to Armand's Family. Armand was Terminal Manager at Roadway & ACL Transport in Oshawa where I was a dispatcher. Armand was always supportive of the staff & one of the finest Gentlemen I ever had the pleasure of working for and with.
