JOHNSON, Arnold 1922-2018 Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family in his 97th year on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. Dear husband of the late Marg (2010). Loving father of Judy (Ed), Bob (Donna), Heather (the late Kevin, 2018), Betty (George). Proud grandfather of Amy (Dre), Phil (Chantale), Katie (Kristian), Brady, Johnlee (Theresa), Michael and Julia. Great-grandfather of Amelia, James and Jackson. Arnold was predeceased by his brothers Don (Marge), Victor (late Carine) and Neal. Arnold was a content and positive person he loved the great outdoors, gardening, hunting and fishing, reading, visiting the apple orchard and sitting back and listening to his family's antics. He was a World War II Veteran, airplane mechanic and volunteer firefighter. He will be missed by all who knew him. A special thanks to all who gave him loving care and comfort especially his favorite on West One at Newmarket Health Centre. He was grateful and appreciative for his wonderful life. He was a #GoodEgg. Wow! Visitation for Arnold will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Queensville United Church, 20453 Leslie Street, Queensville, ON L0G 1R0, followed by a Funeral Service at 12 noon. Interment at Queensville Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Arnold's memory may be made to Camp Big Canoe, Campership Fund or Queensville United Church.
