Attilio Scorsolini Obituary

ATTILIO SCORSOLINI Cav. Uff. On January 1, 2011. God called Attilio at the age of 95. He is now reunited in Heaven with his loving wife Clara and dear daughter Alessandra. Attilio was a WWII survivor who dedicated many years as a Sergeant in the Italian Army. He endured many hardships but was one of the lucky soldiers who was able to return to a civilian life and continue forward with a life filled with happiness, family, health, longevity and independence. A kind and gentle man who was loved by all. He will be truly missed by his daughter Pamela, son-in-law Brian Campbell and his grandchildren Lucas and Stephanie Campbell and Gianpaolo and Eliana Bernardo. Attilio will also be truly missed by his family in Italy. Many thanks to the staff at Villa Colombo (1st Floor - Fidani Wing) who cared for him. Family and friends will be received at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave., at Dufferin St.) on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St., south of Highway 7).

Pam,
My deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father. He obviously led a full, happy life with family and friends, and for that I'm sure you find some comfort. May he rest in peace, and may you find comfort in the support and love of your family and friends.
