Barbara BASHCHAK Obituary

BASHCHAK, Barbara Barbara Bashchak passed quietly on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. She had just celebrated her 89th birthday. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Bill and her siblings Marion, Jack, Jim, Harold, Mary and George. She will be remembered by her 9 nephews and 5 nieces. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Clement Roman Catholic Church, 409 Markland Drive, Etobicoke. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Turner & Porter Butler Chapel (416-231-2283).

I was saddened to hear of Barbara s passing I was a caregiver to Barbara although she was difficult to manage at times with shared many laughs rest now Barb. With Chip Your beloveed dog and Bill beside you

I was very fortunate to have spent some time with Aunt Barb on the 23rd and 27th just before her passing. She was in good spirits and working on a puzzle when I had stopped in, as I do when traveling to Toronto. It was always special for me to spend time with my dad's younger sister and recall memories and share photos. This time she enjoyed seeing pictures of my grand kids, Jim's great grandchildren and her great grand nephew and niece. Learning of her passing the evening I arrived home was heart wrenching, having just seen her more energized then in past visits with telling me how she was proud to now be the longest living person of the "Dunderdale" family. She hopefully is at Bill's side once again and at peace. Thank you, to all my cousins for taking care of her over the last few challenging years.
