Barb was an inspiring and exceptional person because she could understand the importance of helping people in need. She was the founder of the Canadian Syringomyelia Network because she knew the needs of people with this condition were not being met, and she decided to do something about it. She was able to set aside her own problems and think of others! That was Barbara, and we have all lost a friend, a lovely soul, a determined worker and a wonderful person!

Bill and I always enjoyed spending time with Barbie. We didn't get to know her well but we loved her playful sense of humor and were always impressed by her positive perspective on life. Her family and friends meant everything to her. Our condolences to the family. She will be missed.
