Barbara McEACHERN Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, on Sunday, July 5, 2015. Barbara, loving mother of Douglas, Donnell (and his wife Christine), Debora and Kathryn. Cherished grandmother of eight. Predeceased by her two brothers. Barbara was a loving aunt. Loving mother to Tyrone. Friends may visit at the JERRETT FUNERAL HOME, 6191 Yonge Street, North York (south of Steeles Avenue), on Thursday, July 9th from 6-9 p.m. Memorial Service on Friday, July 10th at 11 a.m. at St. John's Anglican Church, York Mills, 19 Donridge Drive. Interment of cremated remains in the St. John's Anglican Churchyard Cemetery following the Service. Online condolences may be made at

Kathryn (Kassi) and Family,
I never knew your Mom, but I feel as if I did with all the things you have told me about her. She was a very strong and determined woman who did it all on her own with young kids to clothe and feed. You come by your strong resolve and determined attitude honestly - definitely traits you inherited from her and traits I'm sure she was truly proud of in you.
I have no idea what you must be going through in losing what I think is the single most important compass in my life. I know your mom was that to you too, and with this loss comes so many layers of heartache. Please know my heart is open to giving you anything you might need during this time of incredible loss. There may be miles between us, but I am always here for you Kassi.

Aunt Barb and all of my cousins were a big part of my childhood - especially the time spent at Honey Harbour. Carol, Andrew and Alex and I looked forward to catching up with Aunt Barb at the annual O'Donnell Boxing Day gathering. Aunt Barb, Uncle Ron and my father (Harold) were all loved and appreciated by all of us. She will be missed.
