BARRIE BARDSLEY MOTTRAM Retired Metro Toronto Police Officer At Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday, July 26, 2015 in his 80th year. Barrie, beloved husband of 57 years to Jean (nee Harding). Loving and devoted father of Wendy Solsky (Ed), Christine Likopulos (Sam), Barrie Mottram (Tammy) and Lisa Cain (Mike). Cherished grandfather of Jillian Bissonnette (Dan), Adam Solsky (Christine), Shane Likopulos (Rebecca), Pam Likopulos (Reid), Grant Likopulos, Marlene Mottram, Barrie Mottram Jr., Shannon Cain, Thomas Cain and Mark Cain and great-grandfather of Lena Likopulos. Dear brother of Sheila Williams in England. In keeping with Barrie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place on Sunday, August 9th at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough, Ontario (reception to follow). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Online condolences may be expressed at highlandparkfuneralcentre.com

It's hard to find the right words to express the sadness I felt when I learned of Barrie's passing, and of some way to ease the pain of your loss Jean. But it may help in some small way for you to know that his suffering is over. My deepest sympathy to you, and if there is ever anything that I could do for you, all you have to do is to contact me.

To my special friend Jeanie and the entire Mottram clan. My heart is broken thinking of Barrie's passing. I know he is not suffering anymore and is in a peaceful place, but the loss is still felt. I don't know how we can go out for lunch anymore and order our usual without thinking about Barrie and how he used to look forward to that extra piece of fish. I will always be there for you if ever you should need me, even it is just to talk on the phone. Love you all. Bev and Doug
