MATTHEWS, Barry - Passed suddenly on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of Lori Ann and her husband Massimo. Grandfather to Matthew and Lily. Friends are welcome to gather with family on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Rd. (just east of St. Clair Ave. E.). Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 3 p.m. in the chapel. Condolences may be left at www.mcdbrownscarb.ca

I am completely shocked at the sudden death of your husband. Barry and I met many times in Grey Abbey Park, walked together and exchanged news about our neighbourhood.

It is with the greatest sadness that I learned of Barry's sudden passing. Much adored neighbours and friends, Barry and Pat always had time to share with us on our daily doggy walks.
I will miss him dearly.
My deepest condolences to Pat and family - it is indeed a great loss.
