The grief will not disappear. it will lessen, and as time passes, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I am saddened to learn of Basil's passing. Only a month ago we had a "reunion" of "old" Galileans at home (70th Anniversary) and we were remembering Basil, Uncle Homer and the entire family from Homestead Road. Please accept my deep sympathy at his passing.

Very sad to hear about Basil's passing. I learned a lot from him at the Markham Photography Club when he was mentoring a number of us. He had a keen observation of photography he was more than willing to share. I enjoyed my time with him

Donna my heart goes out to you and the family as I share your grief and bewilderment at Basil's unexpected loss.

My cousin and I shared so many special moments during our childhood and young adulthood - born the same year, Married the same year, both with two children. - I could go on indefinitely as I recall so many significant incidents and activities. Most of all I remember our years at Kingston Technical High 1959-1961 and the tricks such as wiring our adjoining classrooms so you and your fellow pupils could hear what was going on in my class.

Donna, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls, Leah, Auntie Carole sends hugs and kisses and assure you that it will get better as your grandfather looks down from heaven and remains at your side.

Basil, the cousin who was always closer than a sister, I will miss you and love you forever.
