BENGT KULLERVO JANSSON

JANSSON, BENGT (BING) KULLERVO August 5, 1928 – January 25, 2019 Born in Hango, Finland to Aarne and Margit (nee Fjader) Jansson, Bing was the brother of Bjarne and Birgit, all of Hango and all deceased. Bing immigrated to Canada in 1954, making his home in Toronto. Married Norma. Father of Iris (Mark) McQueen of Guelph and Eric (Janet) Jansson of Oakville. Following his retirement as an elevator mechanic, from Dover Elevators and previous employment at Reddy Elevators & Turnbulls, he and Norma later separated, with Bing making his home at Lake Eugenia. Eric and Janet's care in his later years, enabled his independent living. Death came suddenly, of natural causes, at his beloved, handcrafted lakeside residence, leaving nephews and nieces in Finland and Canada and Granddaughter Kayla McQueen, partner Steven and great-grandson Cooper, of Guelph.
