November 25, 1989 - May 20, 2017
Our beloved Ben passed away suddenly at the age of 27. A remarkable, super-smart, and complex soul. He leaves behind his mother Diana, father Nigel, sister Jennifer and extended family and friends who knew and loved his spirit. We will miss him forever. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26th. Mass on Saturday, May 27th at 10:00 a.m. in OUR LADY OF MERCY CHURCH, Port Hope, Ontario. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Hope. A celebration of Ben's life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the CAMH Foundation, 100 Stokes Street, 5th Floor, Bell Gateway Building, Toronto M6J 1H4 would be appreciated. Nigel and family, I'm so saddened to hear of Ben's passing. Grief is a passage, unfortunately the price of love. May you find comfort in knowing he was loved, a brilliant ray of light, now dimmed.
