Yvonne, my thoughts are with you in your time of sorrow. I first meet Buzz at TRDC and didn't fully get to know his soft side until I worked with him at Symcor. I always loved his zest for life and his ability to make one laugh along with him.
My condolences to you and his daughters families.

Where do you begin? To many memories, stories, jokes, laughs all to plentiful to count, that beautiful smile and warm greeting each time you met. I never knew anyone who had so much zest for life than Buzz. I can't remember when I met Buzz as it seems I've known him forever. We worked together in Montreal and here in Scarborough and it was like family, the BMO family. I was so shocked and heart broken by the news of his passing. He was a wonderful, thoughtful, loving and caring dear friend and will be missed by all those who loved him. When I close my eyes I can hear his voice and laugh so clear. Thanks Buzz for the good times and wonderful memories.

I worked on a lot of projects with Buzz at MRDC and eventually TOSC. We always stopped and talked at the back doors at SCC in the morning catching up on things before the day started. He made the start of every day a lot better. Will biss you Buzz

It is with great sadness that I write Yvonne. Buzz was such a caring loving man, I cannot believe he has left this world. It is such a cliche, but they say, "Only the good die young". This is one of those. His contagious laugh and his warmth were beyond that of many men. He adored his family and they meant the world to him. God must have something very important for him to do. Please accept my deepest condolences and know that you and your family are in my thoughts and in my prayers.

I was surprised and sorry to hear that Buzz passed on at such a relatively young age. I knew him from the time that we both spent at SCC. My condolences to his family.

Buzz was the major asset at the MRDC at the time of Mech implementation.
I only knew Buzz as a young man but it is shocking that that he has left us all so soon
My condolences to the family

I first heard Buzz's name the first summer that I worked at BMO in Montreal (1982). (Hard name to forget!). I finally met him in person in Toronto about 5 years ago. When I introduced myself to him, he gave me a bear hug and kisses (both cheeks - Montreal style). I have never met such a happy, loving person. I remember when his first grand child was born - how perfect for St.Paddy's. He was so proud. I feel honored to have spent time with Buzz as my friend. Yvonne - thinking of you - I hope that you are comforted by knowing how very special you were to a very special fellow.

Buzz was a true and trusted friend of mine. We shared many happy moments in Montreal and Toronto. His infectious laugh made him a great team member and a "Let me do it" type of guy.

To Buzz's family I offer my prayers and condolences, he will be truly missed by the legions of people who called him friend.

It would have been 35 years this Sept that I first met Buzz. He was a Manager in the M.R.D.C. I worked as one of the secretaries to a few managers including Buzz, for a 3 mth period replacing a girl on sick leave. In Feb 1976 I returned full time and worked for Buzz. He actually was the one who asked that I come back.He was the most wonderul guy anyone could work for. Buzz and I had great times in the 5 years I worked for him, as he was eventually transfered to Toronto. We always kept in touch and we were best friends forever. I once told Buzz that no matter where he or I will be, we will never lose contact and we never did. You never forget someone like him. He will always be in my heart and I will think of him fondly. St. Patrick's Day I know I will feel his presence as I never missed wishing him a Great Day and I will continue to do so in my heart and thoughts. Will miss him very much. Patricia (giggles) Howarth (Buzz gave me that name)
