DESROCHERS, Bertha (nee Bellisle) - 1923 - 2012 After a lengthy struggle with Parkinson's, Bertha passed away March 24, 2012 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Marcel Desrochers. Dear mother of Donna (Al) Muggeridge, Mike (Jocelyne) Desrochers, Lin (John) Partridge, Anne-Marie McCool and Mark (Rose) Desrochers. Cherished Mémé to Carrie (Shane) Strangways, Dayle McCool, Evan McCool, Jessica Desrochers, Alex Parks and Brayden Strangways. Loving daughter of the late Patrick and Josephine Bellisle. Beloved sister to Len (Sharon) Bellisle and Gerard Bellisle of Penetanguishene. Predeceased by her sisters Anita and Irene and her brother Ron. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, all family and friends who knew her. Special thanks to the staff at Burton Manor. The family will receive friends at Glendale Visitation Centre at 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke, 416-679-1803, on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 4-9 p.m. and on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 9-10 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church at 2547 Kipling Avenue on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Love and sympathy to the entire family. I fondly recall growing up on Lakeland drive and Mrs D. was a big part of it. If someone asked her if she was going to church. Mrs D. responded with "I pray for all sinners" ! She always said it with a smile and a laugh.
