I had the pleasure of working with Bert for many years, and I always enjoyed his stories and quick laughter. Bert was a student of my great aunt in public school in Gravenhurst and I appreciated it when he shared those memories with me. I liked Bert, and will miss seeing him. My sincere condolences to all his family.

We were saddened to learn that Bert had passed away. Unfortunately we will not be able to pay our personal respects at this time. I have known Bert for about 65 years. As kids we were neighbours in Toronto and played hockey, football and baseball at the local school yard. Then we worked together at S & C for about 35 years.

He was a good, very likeable person with so many fine qualities. Maureen and I hope that your fond memories will comfort you at this time. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Sincerely
