MACKENZIE, Betty Ann (nee Barr) - Suddenly, while vacationing in Barbados on Sunday, April 10, 2011, Betty MacKenzie, cherished wife and soulmate for 55 years of Angus. Much loved mother of Norm (Karine), Ian (Colleen), Dave (Kim), Susan (Tim) and Kirk (Gillian). Most amazing grandmother of Cory (Nicole), Blaire, Devon, Ben, Genevieve, Maddie, Kenny, Steven, Lauren, Liam, Luke, Reese and Emmett. Great-grandmother of Victoria. Betty was the daughter of the late Peter and Laura Barr and will be forever missed by her brothers Bill, Peter and Roger (Sandy) and their families. She was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Friends and acquaintances are invited to join the family for a celebration of Betty's life on Thursday, April 21st at 2 p.m. at the Aurora Seniors' Centre, 90 John West Way, Aurora. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

We are so sorry for your loss. Betty was an amazing person and a friend to everyone. We enjoyed being invited to the Strawberry Tea each year; it was always nice to see Betty having fun with her friends and family. She will be missed.
