Blanche ANTHONY Obituary

ANTHONY, Blanche - Passed away after a brief illness at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the age of 88. Blanche Anthony, wife of the late John Anthony and predeceased by her loving companions Jack Spang, George Carter and Ken Stiver. Loving mother of Doug (Danielle), Diane (Norm) White, Ray (Lesley) and Dale Slack (Dave). Dear grandmother of Jenny, Mandy (Traviss), Cameron (Mida), Russell, Robert (Angie), Ronnie (Vanessa), Ashley (Matt), Erin (John) and great-grandmother of 9 great- grandchildren. Blanche will be sadly missed by her special niece Pat, nieces, nephews, friends and is predeceased by her lifelong friend Norma Geer. Blanche led a full and vibrant life and was still able to live in her own home and on her 88th birthday enjoyed swimming with her great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at the Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry, 905-985-7331 on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Blanche will be held in the chapel on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 12 noon with a reception to follow at the funeral home. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made at www.lowandlow.ca

Sincere sympathy to Doug,Diane, Ray and Dale.
From what I have about your mother over the years she was always an active and lively presence and I am sure she will be greatly missed. Don't let anyone tell you that just because she was elderly you should miss her less. Actually it is the other way around.
