Sad to hear and I wonder why I had a sudden urge today to look Bobby up on the internet. Bobby was a classmate of mine at Bendale Public School in Scarborough Ont. In 1964 in grade 8 we were loitering outside a school window and Bobby was instructing a music teacher through the window what piano cords to use for a specific song. The teacher was amazed at his musical talent. In grade 10 he left high school for a full time music career. The Principal of the school asked him why he was leaving and Bob responded "Because I am making more money than you are at age 17" He was a Canadian musical genius.

I had the pleasure of working with Bobby in Rudy Toth's band touring on several GM industrial shows and on an album ("Shuffle Babies") during the '70s. He was an excellent musician, and fun to hang out with (both on and off the gig!) I was always sorry we lost touch in more recent years. Sincere sympathy to his family and loved ones at the loss of a very special person.

Bobby was a mentor to me, and an inspiration. It felt like he took me under his wing to teach me the secrets of the universe on the Guitar. His legacy will not be forgotten in my Heart. He will be remembered fondly as a guide into what I do today.
Deepest condolences to family and friends.
