Just the sweetest funest boyfriend in the late 1990´s!! Took me for a week up to Skeleton Lake and got me to eat escargot (snails) for the first time. Hung out with friends and family, Mom and Dad Carr and brother Bruce.
I am heartbroken

I first met Brian during the summer of 1975, when I first came to Toronto. We maintained a close friendship until his death. Brian was a special person, with a sunny disposition. He was a kind and loyal friend, witty, and quick with a smile. Brian was a good listener too, and no one in his orbit ever felt excluded. A real gift. We´ll miss you Bri Baby, and we will never forget you. Rest in peace.
With condolences to his family,

Had frequent discussions with Brian when his visits with Bruce, Dianna and Chloe intersected with me and my garden, in the house next door to theirs.

Always enjoyed our discussions in general about gardening, but remember fondly how he kindly helped me plant a favourite evergreen.

I am deeply sorry for your loss.
