My sincere sympathy to the entire family. Brian assisted many of my second graders with their reading. He was well loved at St. Dominic School for his warmth, kindness and his positive attitude with children. He will be truly missed by all. Rest in Peace Brian.

Mr gill was my grade six teacher at Melodt Road Public School. I met up with him here in Oakville two Years ag and he came and shared Easter dinner at my house and my own children and husband had the pleasure of his company. He is a teacher you just will never forget. He made such a great impact on my life. Thank you Mr. Gill for your kindness and great teaching.

We met Brian later in life through our mother, Joyce. We admired him for his genuine interest in others and the world around him. His connections with our kids were heartfelt. We will miss him and remember him with great affection. He is gone too soon for a man that still had so much life to live.

Together with Bill Robinson, the three of us had a lot of fun back then, the 50s. Spent many Sunday afternoons/evenings at Brian's place on the Lake for "Hockey Night in Canada". We were known to careen out onto the Lake and slide for hours. Brian and I 'found' each other a few years ago and we enjoyed an active Email and telephone exchange. Several years ago, Gary Robinson, Brian and I met in Oakville for a long lunch and more than a few bottles of wine.Fun times. I certainly shall miss our long talks about our lives and what we might have missed along the way.I know his family and friends will miss his very dry wit and sense of humour. He was such a good friend as to correct my grammar, occasionally. Goodbye, Brian.
