Dear Diana,
I am so sad. Brian was such a great person. He organized the best dinners at INTA, full of joy and interesting people and conversation. I sang the national anthem of Colombia in two of them. I will never forget him.

While over the last twenty years Brian and I were almost always on the opposite side of a case, I always found Brian to be a gentleman's litigator: practical, effective, and polite, and always with an eye on the "big picture". I will miss working with Brian (it never felt like we were adversaries, though obviously we were), and I extend my sincere condolences to his family.

Diana, Victor and Andrea,
I am so incredibly sorry to hear about Brian. He was such an amazing man. I knew him for almost 25 years and will always remember him, his kindness, his infectious laugh and overall love of life! I am attaching a photo from a dinner we had in Vancouver last September.
My deepest condolences.

Brian had a giant heart and a hearty laugh. He lived life according to his own terms but was deeply loyal to friends and family. I shall miss his warmth. I shall miss laughter. I shall miss his guidance.
