BRIAN NORMAN Obituary

NORMAN, BRIAN KEITH Formerly of Montreal, and after a long struggle with cancer, Brian passed away peacefully at the Toronto Grace Health Centre on December 20, 2021 in his 76th year. He was the son of the late Lester Norman and the late Margaret Quinn. He was the eldest of our family, and leaves behind his common law wife of many years Charlene Day, his former wife Tonie, son Jeffrey (Melissa), and grandchildren Niamh and Emmet. He was predeceased by son Jeremy and our brother Lindsay. He leaves behind his siblings Gail (Ian), Eric (Ida), Georgia (James), Sharon (Fredy) and Harris, two nephews, five nieces, other relatives and friends. He is fondly remembered by those who knew him as "a kind man with a lively intelligence and a passion for helping others." He wanted to leave the world a better place, and he succeeded. A memorial service will take place on January 30th at 2 p.m. at Don Heights Unitarian Church. We are very grateful to the staff of Humber River Hospital and Grace Health Centre for the wonderful care Brian received. Our deepest appreciation is extended to Tonie and Jeffrey for their constant caring and helpful nature and many hospital visits. Rest in peace Brian. You will be greatly missed.

Dearest Brian,

Brothers are like streetlights along the road.
They don't make distance any shorter, but they light up the path and make the walk worthwhile.

It was wonderful seeing you grow into a husband and father.  To see how much you loved both your children and grandchildren.

Your life was a blessing,
Your memory a treasure,
You are loved beyond words,
and missed beyond measure.
