Brian SHEEDY Obituary

SHEEDY, Brian Vincent - Proud, loving father of Riley, Rory and Angus, passed peacefully on September 9, 2014 at the age of 60. Beloved son of the late Patrick and Margaret Sheedy. Siblings Kevin, Mary Jo (Larry), Terry (Denise) and Michael (Susan) and their families will sorely miss our talented builder, naturalist, artist, musician, cook and all-round tease. A generous man, he was always ready to help his family and many friends. Cremation has taken place. An Irish wake celebrating Brian's life will be held on Sunday, September 21st, at Mingal's Bar and Restaurant, 2386 Kingston Rd., Scarborough at 2 p.m. All are welcome. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to the palliative care team in Durham Region for all their support, concern and care throughout Brian's illness.

Brian used to stop by Mingals regularly, and he was always such a joy to talk to. He´d share stories about camping with his sons, the music he loved, and even gave me advice for the future home I´d someday have. He was incredibly smart and quick-witted, and I´ll really miss having him drop in during my shifts

I just came across Brian's passing, it's been many years since I last saw him or his brother Terry. I'm sorry for his family's loss and send my belated condolences. I lost my own sister in Nov. 2014 & know there are times it seems so long ago & other times when it feels like only yesterday. Brian was always kind to me sincerly Carol Fiset

My condolences to the family and particularly his 3 sons, Brian always talked non-stop about his boys & how proud he was of them. Age 60 is such a short young life. Rest in peace & know that we will all miss you.
