BRIGITTE BUFFEY Obituary

BRIGITTE BUFFEY Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on September 5, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Brian for 46 years, loving mother of Meghan (Dennis), lovingly remembered by her five step- sons including Brian, Bill and Ken. Brigitte will be greatly missed by her puppies Oliver and Igel and her granimals Simon and Floyd. Will also be missed by her countless friends. Brigitte's family requests that you follow a dress code that honours her colourful life. Visitation will be held at HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME, 10 Cachet Woods Court, Markham (northeast corner of 16th Ave. and Hwy. 404), 905-887-8600, on Monday, September 9th and Tuesday, September 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Online condolences may be placed at www.highlandfuneralhome.ca

I remember your mother as a fun caring lady. She was the glue behind the Berczy book club, which I enjoyed being a member of. She came to the cottage here on Gull Lake for many years to work on the reading list for the next year. She will be missed by me and the club. Sandra Ackland
