Brigitte VAN RIET Obituary

VAN RIET, Brigitte Peacefully at 6:02 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 89 years of age, Brigitte passed away surrounded by family and friends at Trillium Mississauga Hospital. Born February 5, 1929 in Berlin, Germany. Brigitte was predeceased by her parents Erwin and Helene, her brother Joachim, her sister Helga and her beloved son, Harald Arndt. She is survived by her daughter Karin Savaglio, her son-in-law Vince, her three grandchildren Danielle Savaglio (Jesse Freud), Chris Savaglio and Elizabeth Arndt, her great-granddaughter Kenzi Savaglio-Freud and her brother Peter Trump and his wife Hilde. Brigitte was truly a survivor, having endured many hardships in her lifetime. She was an honest, strongly opinionated woman and was fiercely protective of all she loved. Brigitte will be deeply missed and there will forever be a hole in everyone's heart that loved her. There will be a private interment at Sanctuary Cemetery on Royal York Road for family.
