My dear Uncle Bruce,
It is with great sadness today I have learned about your recent death. You were a great man...one who loved life and all of God's creatures...the two and four legged kind. I will always remember your powerful voice, your laughter and song. Could you ever sing! I will miss you...rest in peace now. My heartfelt sympathy to you Aunt Barb and my cousins Bob, Darlene, Cheryl and Ken. May loving memories of your beloved husband and Dad, help you through this very sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

It is with sadness that I hear of the passing of Bruce. He along with others took me under his wing and mentored me as a young newly hired faculty member at the college. I remember being referred to as " the apprentice " by Bruce. He introduced me to Duckworths and I enjoyed many servings of fish and chip and heels ( the ends of the loafs of fresh baked bread ). I will always remember two things about Bruce. He had a sign on his desk that read. ( Bald is beautiful, God only make so many perfect heads, the rest he covered in hair ). And Bruce was always reminding everyone that " if you got it a truck brought it". Rest in peace Bruce, bald is beautiful.
