My condolences to Linda,Laura,Ross,Gillian and Addison. I had the honor of working and becoming friends with Bruce in 1994. Bruce was a business leader that I felt was ahead of his time.Even though we live far apart I will miss all the great discussions we had long distance.Bruce loved to talk about financial results however I did learn not to talk about money when he was driving ( almost went through a red light). I miss Bruce, and feel very fortunate I got to know him.

Linda, Laura, Brian, Gillian, Addison, & Ross. Your husband, dad, and Grandpa was one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of knowing. Whether it was to lend a hand, a simple smile or wave, he was always there. The friendship that he gave to my dad over the years was one that all of us will remember. Him poking around in the garden and just waving hello will be missed. Bruce had this infectious laugh and smile and it will always be remembered. May he rest peacefully now and be an angel to watch over all of us. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Remember to smile because that is what he would want you to be doing.

Bruce was my oldest friend.Through the years, whether it was keeping his cool when I broke his new hockey stick or when I blew it in the 2man volleyball tournament he really wanted to win, when he saved us both from injury in the car accident,or when he helped me out when I was unemployed - Bruce was always there for me.He was that rare person who always had the courage to do what was right. It was a privilege to know him.Diane,Trevor and I send our deepest sympathies to Linda and all the family.

The Heazel Family always made me feel welcome in their home. Bruce would greet me with a smile, and an open ear waiting and interested in what I had to say.
After a late night drive back from Wonderland, he sat in the driveway with Laura & I so we could sing to "The Rose"
I have so many wonderful memories of Bruce that would always end in me thinking to myself how lucky my friend was to have such a gentle, loving and patient Dad.
Linda, Laura & Ross~my thoughts and Love are always with you.

I feel blessed to have known such a wonderful man. Bruce was like a second father to me growing up in Montreal. So many memories that I will cherish in my heart forever, I vividly remember him listening to baseball games on the radio while working outside on Duke of Kent. He will always, fondly come to mind whenever I here the sound of a these broadcasts.
I know I speak for the whole Gibson clan when I say "I love you Bruce, thank you for everything."
To the rest of the Heazels, my thoughts and love are with you. I am always here whenever you need anything.

A true gentleman, just like his father and brother. I'll always remember his smile, great sense of humor, what great listener he was, his kind and gentle nature and how he always went out of his way to help others. He will be dearly missed by his family. We love you Uncle Bruce.

I have never met a man with such an infectictious smile. a man who always wanted to know how you are, what you are doing and is so interested in your well being. He had a huge heart with nothing but love and warmth for everyone he came in touch with.
Uncle Bruce will always hold a very special place in our family, and his role will never be ableto be filled by anyone else. We have a very special memory for a very special man.
Burce, thank you for being such an important and loving memeber of our family. As your son in law said, your life was a legacy and you will always be rememebered and in our hearts forever.

Quite simply, Bruce loved to help. He was the epitome of the good samaritan. And to see how many people helped in so many different ways during his battle with Cancer, it is clear to me how many people he has touched and helped in his life time.
A friend to me always. And someone to measure myself. Thank you Bruce, your legacy will live on by the way you lived your life.

Some people live by creeds. If Bruce did, I imagine it went something like this:
Think deeply, speak gently, live much, laugh much, love much, challenge yourself, work hard, give freely, be kind and smile broadly.
I will always remember his joviality and his interest in the lives of others around him. But more than anything I will remember his smile.
